Our alumni have compiled enviable records of achievement in their work in governmental and nonprofit organizations. As our alumni network continues to serve others, the Department of Public Administration is finding ways to serve you.
The Δ (Delta) Award
Every year, the Department of Public Administration recognizes one alumnus/ae with the Δ (Delta) Award for outstanding service. This year’s recipient is Aldrin Bonilla ’99.
Aldrin Bonilla is the administrator/director of CUNY in the Heights, creating a new community college in northern Manhattan. Prior to that he served as director of the Community Technology and Civic Participation Projects for the Fund for the City of New York and operations manager for the Census 2000 in the Borough of Manhattan. He is also active in the Games for Social Change Movement and chairs the NYC Latino Voting Rights and Redistricting Committee.
