Annual Award Winners
Annual awards given by the Department of Public Administration include the following:
Alpha – for current students
Scholarship-exemplary classroom performance, with a GPA in the top five of graduating MPA students in the previous year (thus winter semester graduates would be eligible) Service-significant contributions to the MPA program that go beyond the normal responsibilities of good citizenship. Examples of service might include effective leadership of the MPA Graduate Student Organization, leadership in community service activities or contributing materially to the betterment of the University or wider community. Leadership-demonstrating exemplary leadership qualities including high ethical standards, communication skills, professionalism and vision.
