Assistant professor and director of the Center for Applied Community Research and Development
Alden received her Ed.D. in Educational Theory to Practice (2002), her Masters of Arts in Teaching (1981), as well as her BA in Anthropology (1980) from Binghamton University. For over 20 years, Alden has been actively engaged in work and research related to high-need children and families. Her current funded research focuses on community-based action research in a neighborhood revitalization effort based in downtown Binghamton.
