Nonmatriculated Students
Thank you for your interest in MPA courses. Note the MPA policy regarding non-matriculated registration for MPA courses:
• Student admission into courses occurs in the following order:
- MPA matriculated students
- MPA matriculated space available students
- MASS students with an approved* MPA concentration
- Matriculated students in any other graduate program
- Non-matriculated students
• PAFF 510, 523 or 527 are only open to MPA matriculated (including space available) students.
• Only matriculated MPA students may register for courses before the first week of classes. All other students must first complete and submit the attached Non-Matriculated Registration Form, seek advisement from the MPA Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) and obtain approval from the DGS before registering at the MPA office.
• The MPA office will notify students of course admission decisions by e-mail only at the end of the first week of classes. Make sure that the MPA Office has your current e-mail address. Do not call the MPA office for information about course admission decisions.
- Students seeking approved MPA concentrations through the MASS program must forward the completed MASS program application to the MPA program and schedule an interview with the director of graduate students (DGS). The DGS makes a decision based on the application and interview.
